About Kerala Tour:

Get your backpacks ready because Nomadic Tribes is taking you on an epic road trip to the backwater gems and evergreen hill stations of Kerala. On this, expertly curated 6N/7D sojourn, glide through a languid network of backwaters of Alleppey, the tea-covered hills of Munnar, and the emerald hills of Vagamon, along with a cultural amble at Kochi. This all-inclusive trip covers transportation, stay at incredible locations, and wholesome meals, with only like-minded travelers per batch.

Itinerary:

Day 01: Arrival at Cochin

Meet and greet your trip leader at Kochi airport at 10:30 am and head towards Hotel at Kochi (Fort Kochi) step out to explore Kochi in its true essence by visiting the Folklore Museum, Jew Town, Jewish Synagogue, Dutch Palace, St. Francis Church, Santa Cruz Basilica, Fort Kochi Beach, and Chinese Fishing Nets. Note: We will try to cover as many spots as possible.
The evening is free for a leisurely time at the Hotel or you can visit the urban side of Kochi, Ernakulam. Here, you can go on a shopping spree at lavish malls or check out iconic cafes.
Return to the hotel for a night full of games, and conversations. Overnight at Cochin.

Day 02: Cochin – Munnar

Wake up to a hearty breakfast and get ready for a comfy journey to Munnar. South India’s largest tea-growing region, Munnar, is an emerald-green hill station you will explore today.
Before reaching Munnar, dip your toes in the scenic Cheeyappara and Valara Waterfalls, and then explore a spice garden.
By afternoon, reach the Hotel at Munnar and check in. Situated in the serene outskirts of Munnar
In the evening, go out for cultural shows like Kathakali and Kalaripayattu (at your own expense).

Day 03: Munnar – Kolukkumalai

Start your day early at 4 am for an adventurous Jeep Safari to Kolukkumalai Hills. It’s green, serene, and home to the highest tea plantations in the world.
Return to the hotel to freshen up and for a delicious breakfast.
Later, head out to explore Echo Point, Kundala Lake, Kundala Dam, Mattupetty Lake & Mattupetty Dam, Top Station, Carmelagiri Elephant Park (Elephant Ride), Munnar Tea Gardens, and Tea Museum & Factory.
Return to the hostel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 04: Munnar To Vagamon

After breakfast, start a comfy journey to one of the finest hill stations in Kerala, Vagamon.
Check in at Hotel Vagamon, which sits overlooking a vast expanse of lush green hills and tea estates.
Afterward, take a dip in the natural infinity pool situated at the hostel premises.
Return to the Hotel to chill with your newfound friends over a filling dinner.

Day 05: Day Trip To Vagamon

Enjoy a hearty breakfast at the hostel and decide where you want to go on a day trip with your tripmates. You can hike to Kurisumala, Thangalpara, or Murugan Hill.Afterward, go out to explore Pine Forest and Vagamon Meadows, where you can go paragliding (at your own expense).
Head back to the hotel in the evening for a night full of laughter, games, and a delicious dinner.

Day 06: Vagamon to Alleppey

After breakfast at the Hotel, prepare for a scenic journey along the coastline to Alleppey. Home to a vast network of waterways, Alleppey is a hub of Keralan backwaters.
Check in at Hotel Alleppey and relax. Later, step out to ride a shikara at serene backwaters, and explore Alleppey Beach, Lighthouse, and Floating Bazaar. Expect a brilliant orange and pink sunset from the beach, a splendid view of the Arabian Sea from the lighthouse, and local delicacies at Floating Bazaar.
Return to the Hotel to chill with your newfound friends over a filling dinner.

Day 07: Departure to Kochi Airport

After a final breakfast with your travel companions, it’s time for an onward journey. It’s a scenic journey along the coast, so don’t forget to put on good music and check out the amazing views.
The trip ends at Kochi Airport with lots of memories, and see you soon on more adventures.
