Introduction

The Gaimukh Trek in Sanjay Gandhi National Park leads to a scenic vantage point, which is the second-highest peak (plateau) in the park. The name “Gaimukh” is derived from a natural rock formation that resembles a cow’s mouth, and the trek is famous for this unique landmark.
