Join Ollit Expeditions on the Chintaphu Trek – Rhododendron Trail, a breathtaking journey through the Eastern Himalayas, exploring the southern part of the Singalila Ridge, which forms the natural border between India and Nepal. Taking place in April, during the peak rhododendron blooming season, this trek offers an enchanting experience of walking through vibrant forests adorned with shades of red, pink, and white blossoms. You will witness panoramic views of Kangchenjunga, Everest, Lhotse, and Makalu. More than just a trek, this journey allows you to connect with mountain landscapes, history, culture, and local communities. Experienced mountain guides will bring the region to life with storytelling on Himalayan history, geography, and traditions. Evenings will be spent in tea houses and homestays, enjoying home-cooked meals and interacting with local families.

ITINERARY –
Day 1: Arrival & Journey to Joubari
- Arrive at Bagdogra Airport/NJP Railway Station
- Drive to Joubari (5-6 hours) via Manebhanjan, gateway to Singalila National Park
- Stay in a tea house with panoramic views of Kangchenjunga & Everest
- Meals Included: Lunch, Dinner
Day 2: Trek to Jamuna Village
- Gentle descent through forests & trails
- Tea break at Gairibas
- Stay in a homestay, experiencing local culture
- Trek Duration: 4-5 hours
- Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 3: Trek to Maimazua
- Walk through tea gardens, forests, and terraced fields
- Visit small waterfalls and breathtaking landscapes
- Stay in a traditional guesthouse in Maimazua
- Trek Duration: 5-6 hours
- Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 4: Ascent to Goruwalebhanjan
- Gradual ascent through rhododendron and pine forests
- Witness vibrant blooming landscapes
- Stay in a peaceful guesthouse in Goruwale
- Trek Duration: 3-4 hours
- Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 5: Summit Chintaphu (3,500m) & Return to Maimazua
- Early morning trek to Chintaphu Top
- Witness a breathtaking sunrise over Kangchenjunga, Everest, Lhotse, and Makalu
- Visit a sacred lake at the summit
- Descend back to Goruwale, then continue to Maimazua
- Trek Duration: 6-7 hours
- Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 6: Trek to Deorali & Visit Maipokhari Lake
- Descent through forests and meadows
- Visit Maipokhari Lake, a sacred and serene water body
- Stay in a guesthouse in Deorali
- Trek Duration: 4-5 hours
- Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 7: Drive to Thulung via Ilam & Pashupati
- Scenic 4-5 hour drive through Ilam, Nepal’s tea capital
- Stop at Pashupati Market, a trading hub at the India-Nepal border
- Stay in a traditional homestay in Thulung
- Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 8: Departure
- Return journey to Bagdogra Airport/NJP Railway Station
- Final reflections on the adventure

Note:-
- Trek dates cannot be altered/rescheduled during the expedition.
- Rhododendron bloom varies yearly, and exact dates cannot be predicted.
Reservation & Confirmation Policy:
- At least 50% advance of the total amount for the confirmation and balance 50% 15 days before check-in.
- Bookings made less than 15 days before the check-in date should be accompanied by full payment only.
- Full Payment mandatory before check-in. (no payments are entertained at the property unless any extra service or deposit )
- Scanned Copy of Govt. Approved ID Card of Booking person mandatory while booking. (Pan Cards are not accepted).
Cancellation Policy:
- Booking canceled is not refundable.
- Booking canceled between the date of booking & 15 Days before check-in – A credit
- note(email) worth 90% of the amount paid will be issued which can be used within
- two months from the cancellation date for future rebooking of the same property
- except on Public Holidays & Peak Season (Month of December).
- Bookings canceled between 15 days till the day of check-in or No Show: Cancellation
- Charge is 100% of the Package Cost.
