About Himachal

This short escape takes you to little-known and still pristine regions in the Himachal Himalayas. You start off with the apple and cherry orchard draped hillsides of Thanedar in the farthest reaches of the Shimla Hills and then embark on a thrilling drive to the incredibly thickly forested mountainside around the tiny hamlet of Sojha in the Seraj region. From here another picturesque drive will bring you to Sonaugi – a place that hushes the din inside you as you enter its strong, silent air to look in the eye the spectacular white ranges of the Dhauladhars up above the Beas River. The astounding landscapes & magnificent scenery that you will see would be more than aptly complimented by the hospitality experiences at each property you would be staying at. Hikes on trails less trod upon & visits to local villages have been woven into the plan to make for an immersive travel experience.

ITINERARY –

Day 1: Chandigarh – Thanedar (2350 M / 7700 ft)

Distance: 198 km (Approx. 5.5 hours drive)
Arrival at Chandigarh Railway Station/Airport by morning.
Drive via Barog, Kandaghat, Shimla, and Narkanda.
Evening: Check-in, bonfire, and relaxation at Hotel On a hilltop with mesmerizing Viwef

Day 2: Thanedar – Sojha (2735 M / 9000 ft)

Distance: 95 km (Approx. 3.5–4 hours drive)
Morning hike through Saratoga Forest (2 hours).
Drive via JaloriPass;ReachShoja
Evening: Check-in and bonfire at Banjara Retreat & Cottage.

Day 3: Sojha –Scelosor Lake trek – Tirthan Valley (1917 M / 6300 ft)

Distance:50 km (Approx. 2 hours drive)  
Morning walk to Waterfall Point & Trek To Scelosor Lake
Visit the old temple of Budhi Nagin which has 360 Degree view after driving Jalori pass by car will reach Starting point of the trek grab some protein bar & Local chocolates & Start our trek it will be plain walk for
5Km Descending the rock-carved stairs, you glimpse Serolsar Lake’s beauty. Inaccessible in winter, it shifts from white-green hues (March–May) to lush greenery (June–November), framed by towering pines.
Evening: Relaxation and bonfire at Riverside Resort.

Day 4: Tirthan

Evening try your hands on fishing In the Tirthan River
Evening: Return to the hotel for leisure and relaxation.

Day 5: Sonaugi – Chandigarh (300 km / 8 hrs)

Early morning departure with packed breakfast.
Drive via Mandi and Bilaspur to Chandigarh.
Drop at the railway Station/Airport.

Q1: Is the itinerary customizable?

Yes you can Increase the number of nights at each destination or You can add any other destination
for Example (Sisu, Manali, Tirthan,Jispa)

Q2: Can we skip Trekking Or Hiking?

Yes, we can change sightseeing as per requirement we can replace treks & hikes with
nearby Temples, Monuments or small River trails

Q3: Are activities included in the package?

No, activities and entry fees are excluded.

Q4: Which Category of the room will be given?

The price is calculated based on the basic category and will vary depending on the higher room category selected.

Q5:  What are the charges for Kids?

Children under 5 years are complimentary. Children between 5 and 10 years will be charged 60% of the package cost. Those above 10 years are considered adults.

Q6: Is Wi-Fi available in hotels?

Yes, most properties offer Wi-Fi, but connectivity may vary.

Reservation & Confirmation Policy:

• At least 50% advance of the total amount for the confirmation and balance 50% 15 days before check-in.
• Bookings made less than 15 days before the check-in date should be accompanied by full payment only.
• Full Payment mandatory before check-in. (no payments are entertained at the property unless any extra service or deposit )
• Scanned Copy of Govt. Approved ID Card of Booking person mandatory while booking. (Pan Cards are not accepted).

Cancellation Policy:

• Booking canceled is not refundable.
• Booking canceled between the date of booking & 15 Days before check-in – A credit note(email) worth 90% of the amount paid will be issued which can be used within two months from the cancellation date for future rebooking of the same property except on Public Holidays & Peak Season (Month of December).
• Bookings canceled between 15 days till the day of check-in or No Show: Cancellation Charge is 100% of the Package Cost.
